Lulue
Born
June 2009.
Lulue is Rambo's sister.
She is a long haired
brown tabby with a little bit of red in it. She has lovely green
eyes. She is still a bit shy, but increasingly comfortable around
humans. She clearly seeks
affection but will often rub against one of her cat friends
instead of coming close enough to be petted. However, when she
is eating, she lets herself be petted and talks back pleasantly.
She seems bright and communicative. Like her brother, she is
used to communal living and to
spending her life outside.
We would like to give this Kitten
a good indoor home.
Ready
for Adoption to a Special Home. Call for more info on Special
Home.

Rambo
Born
June 2009.
Rambo is a white with
gray tabby patches, with green eyes and an irresistible pink
nose. He was born outside, raised by an extended family of semi-socialized
cats, and will most likely adapt to indoor living in no time.
When picked up, he purrs loudly. Without
being aggressive (he got his name from his resemblance to a
grown up cat relative, not because he behaves like a brute!).
He is self-assured, and this is why he has a little pot belly
at the moment: he gets to the plate first and doesn't give up
his spot until he is full! He is used to living with other cats,
so would adapt well to a multi-cat home.
We
would like to give this Kitten a good indoor home.
Ready
for Adoption to a Special Home. Call for more info on Special
Home.

Poppy
Born
June 2009.
Poppy is Rambo and
lulue's sister. She is a brown-gray short haired tabby, with
some red highlights, and green eyes. She is the shyest of the
bunch, both with her feline companions and with humans. She
will need a loving and patient owner, with a fair amount of
experience,
to finish convincing her that humans can be trusted. She comes
close, at this point, but is easily scared unless you have a
piece of ham in your hand or you are dishing out canned food.
Then, she lets herself be touched briefly.
We
would like to give this Kitten a good indoor home.
Ready
for Adoption to a Special Home. Call for more info on Special
Home.

Misty
(Mystique)
ON SEPTEMBER
11 TH WE FOUND A SMALL FEMALE TABBY, BROUGHT HER HOME AND NAMED
HER “MISTY”. WE BECAME VERY ATTACHED TO HER AND DECIDED TO KEEP
HER. SHE WAS SPAYED ON SEPTEMBER 17 TH , HAD HER VACCINATIONS
AND BLOOD WORK TO BEGIN INTEGRATION WITH OUR OTHER 5 CATS, (ALL
STRAYS AS WELL).
UNFORTUNATELY
MISTY TESTED POSITIVE TO FELINE LEUKEMIA, (SNAP AND DNA TESTS),
IT WAS HEART BREAKING AS WE KNEW WE WOULD NOW HAVE TO FIND HER
A HOME. FELINE LEUKEMIA IS CONTAGIOUS TO VERY YOUNG CATS, HOWEVER
NOT TO OTHER ANIMALS OR HUMANS. MISTY SHOULD IDEALLY BE PLACED
IN A ONE CAT FAMILY AND LIVE INDOORS.
THERE
IS NO CURE FOR FELINE LEUKEMIA, HOWEVER, SHE COULD LEAD A NORMAL
LIFE. AT THIS TIME SHE IS HEALTHY AND ONLY TIME WILL TELL IF
SHE WILL REQUIRE ANY MEDICATION.
MISTY
IS A GENTLE, QUIET AND AFFECTIONATE LITTLE GIRL, ABOUT 9 MONTHS
OLD AND WEIGHS 7.6 LBS.
IF
YOU KNOW OF ANYONE WILLING TO GIVE HER A HOME AND LOVE HER,
PLEASE CONTACT US.
SHE
IS SCHEDULED FOR HER BOOSTER LATE OCTOBER, AND UNFORTUATELY
IF WE HAVE NOT FOUND A HOME BY THIS TIME, HER FATE IS SEALED.
THANK
YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP.
She needs a home NOW
!!!!
Please help us save Misty.
